now i'm trying to lose a bit of weight (to be honest a lot of weight) so you will all have to help me by sharing the cake.

we did have a lovely cake in the shape of a very large gingerbread man. not sure why my daughter used that shape but I don't care either.

was surprised that dad offered no resistance to the suggestion of going in for a few days, but pleased...the plan is an intensive period of work on his legs and feet to be maintained on discharge....quite how we willl find out later today from the nursing team
