Did you know this interesting fact about Guinness? Sir Arthur Ernest Guinness once owned this sailing vessel. It was named "Belem", but he renamed it "Fantome II. It has a really interesting history. If you, or anyone else, wishes to look it up, use the name "Belem". http://i57.tinypic.com/v449i8.jpg
You say you've been to the factory a few times. Do they mention the ship in their "History Section"? The captain certainly made a fortuitous decision concerning his mooring point during the time of that eruption!
Your heading is misleading making one think you are speaking to a fellow chatter person, it is well known in Ireland the fleet Sir Arthur and his brewery had, the records are not all held in Guinness brewery but in the National Maritime Museum of Ireland, http://www.mariner.ie/the-guinness-fleets/
so I reckon he owned many a sailing vessel and Guinness ran the canals of Ireland to ship their porter abroad for a long time before using the rail system
