So internet explorer will soon be no more. I know it is slow but I have used it for many years. The only thing I like about it is being able to click on favourites and go to my chosen web page. How can I set up favourites on Google chrome? Please keep it simple as I'm not very technical! TIA

And this is how you do it in Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-internet-explorer

Why Chrome?
Have you considered Firefox? It will download your 'favourites' in to 'bookmarks' which is the same thing with a different name.

Chrome will also install your favourites as bookmarks.

When you install your new browser just tick the box that asks to import your favourites from IE
I think if you download Chrome you will be given an option to 'import' your favourites or bookmarks from IE.
And of course Microsoft will be replacing IE with another browser when the time comes. You might like it.

Just had a thought..I've already got firefox and chrome installed. Would I have to uninstall and re-install to get the favourites import options? TIA
No, you don't need to uninstall them. In Chrome, click on the hotdog menu at the top right of your browser, under the close browser icon (x).

Then click 'bookmarks' and 'import bookmarks and settings'

And in whichever browser you choose you can right click on the folder and rename it favourites.
