George H. W Bush, ('daddy') was VP to Reagan, before becoming President himself. Dan Quayle (or Kwail - I do like the idea of spelling his name wrong!) was VP to old man Bush. Dubya's VP is Dick Cheney.

ty mike, cleared that up nicely for me. glad you liked the spelling. i see no reason to spell it as anything but the small fat flappy bird that doesnt really fly. i remember it being almost a national emergency when it looked like he might be in charge for a bit.
