digital camera footage and windows media player??

went to a gig last night and got some quality footage. I imported it on to pc and its the dogs except....


I turned my camera around to record it so unless i turn my head to the left it hurts to watch it. I cant rotate it on ulead..... how can I watch it the right way up??

Numerous video editing packages allow you to rotate the picture.

A free app. such as VirtualDub will produce such an effect - http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
But of course, when you rotate it the aspect ratio will be wrong for normal TVs and monitors, and the process of roation will probably degrade the quality. Why on earth did you rotate the camera?

its all very well in hind sight....
You can place vertical "letterbox" bars each side of the rotated picture to correct the aspect ratio and the degree of quality is set by the encoder (although if you do a one-to-one pixel transformation the output file will be larger than the input file due to the output having a height equal to the input width)
