life after being a chef?
2 Answers
I am currently working as an agency chef and am looking to change jobs totally but dont know what i want to do or with my qualifications what they will allow me to do.
I have been in charge of kitchens and staff and have had to use microsoft word and a little excel. I am 27 years old and have a clean driving licence.
I have to change jobs as we are planning a family and as my partner earns alot more money then me it makes sense for me to look for a different job that are number 1 better hours and number 2 have a potential of earning me a decent wage something which is v rare in catering.
So if any ex chefs or in fact anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

Not sure what qualifications you have but if you ring the Teacher Training Agency or have a look on the net they should be able to give you lots of information.
You get funding for your training and much better hours than in catering.
Otherwise how about something like a driving instructor which can be quite flexible.
