The Dish is on the East Wall. The main box is in the Living Room (Directly underneath the Dish). Cable down and through wall (Drilled). Second box along East Wall (Drilled again). Third box in room on West facing side (Drilled through wall again).
Our new 'multi room' is located diagonally opposite the dish. Engineer wanted to route the cable all around the house. I wasn't keen on that so rigged up some string under roof across the loft to the multiroom so that he could attach his cable to it and simply pull it across the loft space and down into room. A much neater job. Engineer said he would not have been allowed to go into the loft to route the cable because of 'elf and safety'.
I have Multiroom and just discovered I can get ALL my Sky programmes in my Son's Bedroom on his XBox. If I cancelled Multiroom (and saved £10 or so)would the XBox still get the Sky Programmes? Thanks for any replies.
You can watch Sky on up to two (or it might be three) other devices such as Xbox, etc. You don't get all the channels and you can't record stuff. My kids watch stuff on demand a lot. I don't know the ins and outs of it all though, sorry.
