Hi NicolaJane, I usually doodle names, flowers, trees, boxes, snowmen & peculiar faces. Or if I'm left waiting too long on the phone, or my pc freezes, it's usually the phonetic alphabet: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliette, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-Ray, Yankee, Zulu. How's that for doodling!
Hello brawbird! Thank you for asking. I usually draw a female eye, lips with a shiny bit and cartoony babies, but also tend to do 3D squares, triangles and cones.
I do the same as coggles - and then several variations on it - I think it's a throw back to the patterns we used to have to do when learning joined up writing!!
female eyes but i can only ever draw one, whe i try and draw a pair they never ever come out the right size, really ticks me off........so i draw a nedle skewring the eye and that usually makes me feel better
I have 'the doodle book' which analyses all these, and it's accurate according to most answers here. Coggles' 8's are in it, as are the eyes and lips etc. also mentioned. And all female types, because they all relate to reproduction and nesting instincts. So they basically represent babies and related subjects.
Men, however, (as I do) tend towards geometric shapes, 3d constructions and similar, relating to building and control instincts, like using lego as a child. Both. of course, also draw cartoons, but the humour or otherwise reflects our mood, high or low, dark or light.
