I Have A Laptop Which Is Xp.... Just Rebooted It To Factory
With a windows updates to 8 th April 2014... I have put my computer back to factory settings. what I wanted to ask is when do I put this disk in.? Do I just let it start up at the end or put the disc in some other time? Many thanks brenda

First, disable your anti-virus software (if you've actually got such software installed at the moment).
Then:
"Insert the disc into your computer with your current version of Windows XP running, and the Software Update Installation Wizard should automatically appear. If this wizard doesn't appear, click Start, double-click My Computer, right-click your CD or DVD drive, and then click AutoPlay.
On the Windows XP Service Pack 3 page, click Next.
Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
After the installation is complete, click Finish to restart your computer.
If you disabled your antivirus software, enable it again"

Yes thankyou...I was just going to give an update. I have managed to get it up and working well now...I hope.!lol....Re installed the CD ..still had trouble with Google so put it back onto Firefox and Bingo!!!....my computor seems to hate Google but on Firefox it is working really well...A lot quicker and doesnt keep freezing up like it did before. Many thanks for your help..x
