I own a N reg 1995 1.4 Ford Escort Encore & I am looking to add some alloy wheels, basically my question is what is the Maximum size alloy or wheels/Tyres ? I can have on my car before, upgrades or adjustments that would have to be carried out ? at present I am looking to add 15inch Ford Focus Five Spoke Zetec Alloys

If you wish to install 15" alloys you should also fit low-profiles - probably something like 215x40 - so that the outside circumference of the tyre does not exceed that of the original wheel. Anything out the car manufacturers' specifications (assuming that they fit) will put a strain on the gearing and gives a false speedo reading.
