When do the Kentish apple orchards come into blossom ? Would like to visit.

The past few glorious days have brought lots of things 'out' but we do have a cooler weekend forecast so like everything else in Nature there is no definitive answer to your question - maybe keep checking back here as I believe there are many regular contributors on Answerbank from the area who may update you. Look out for a reliable weather forecast and perhaps check out a Kent Tourism information. Kent blossom season is so worthwhile - truly stunning so do the research and you won't be disappointed.

There are not half as many Kentish apple orchards these days as there used to be... :-(

As a very small boy during World War 2 I was evacuated to a farm near Faversham and witnessed the entire battle of Britain from the farm's apple orchard, so I might retrace my steps down memory lane at apple blossom time.

Why do they adopt the Japanese name Hanami ? It is Apple Blossom not Cherry Blossom as in Hanami
