What Could Be Wrong With Me, Difficulty Taking In Information
25 Answers
i have noticed over the years that i have difficulty understanding direction from people like bosses or friends at work. i also notice recently that i do not take in information easily like if someone gives me their name to add to facebook or line messenger etc i will look at that info and name they give me, then i will type in something incorrect , as if i have forgotten allready or i did not take the correct info into my head the first time.
its like some kind of learning difficulty or maybe dementia ? i am a heavy drinker maybe this could be causing it.
i also dont take everything in when talking to people, as if im not listening, its hard to understand unless you expirience it from my end. its like when someone is talking im not listening and im miles away in my thoughts, i dont want to sound ignorant but its like i cant concentrate on the conversation.
i am 47 years old though at school i was top of class with no difficulty learning

It used to be....well....not uncommon...at sea on the oil tankers which are dry. They would dry out cold turkey at the end of every leave and begin drinking again as soon as they possibly could after leaving the ship. Sadly it never ended well.
DD the distance thing might be a symptom of depression, which might be caused by or causing your drinking. In any case, you know what you need to do. Blaming supermarkets won't help you.
