Out Of Sorts

Hi ABers,
I have recently got through a bad bout of flu (not been so poorly in years), suffered a bad chest infection and prescribed steroids and antibiotics.
I finished the course last Sunday, but since Tuesday I have suffered from a very sore tongue (not cut it or burnt it on food etc) coupled with really bad heartburn which is making me feel quite off colour again. Could it be the antibiotics after effects ? I was on Doxycycline.

I know that I get ill a lot more often when I don't take my vitamins, cliche though it may be. Steroids do horrid things to me- seem to deplete my immune system more and make me feel generally depressed and awful. Gaviscon may help for the heartburn but if not, try omeprazole, or just be really careful to eat only gluten-free, dairy-free, non processed foods, before 8pm.
