Cycling/walking Dilemma
6 Answers
My place of work is currently only 1 mile away from my home. I either cycle or walk to work,a journey of no more than 20 mins.
However my house is up for sand we are planning to move about 8 miles away to be nearer our family. Therefore I am intending to cycle to work and back Mon to Fri when we are living in our new area. This will give me 80 mpw of exercise,(aprox 10 hours per week). This should increase my fitness levels quite a lot
I am also at the moment Power Walking around 1 hour per day,5days a week, and this fits in ok with my short commute to work.
My problem is,when I move house would it be to much to carry on Power Walking on top of 80 miles a week of Cycling.?
It seems to me quite a heavy work load.
I am reluctant to drive the 16 miles per day to work,if only to save money and stop polluting the planet!
Any advice please?

Unless you have any health problems you should be able to do both the cycling and the walking.
