Police Caution.
I have been having a discussion regards to police caution.
A person known to me shoplifted an item worth £2.99 and was stopped when leaving the shop, they summoned a policeman,he asked her name etc(she had never been in trouble with law at all).He rang through to get her checked out and then said she could go but it was a caution.
Does this mean she will have a criminal record ?
