Giving up smoking without putting on weight
Does anyone have any good tips?
I'm strarving all the time - and genuniely so rather just substituting!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You need to do exercise to raise your metabolism. Are you sure you are not eating more? Mints, Gum etc, nibbles? Smoking does increase the metabolism so you need to find anothe way to do that and exercise is good. Don't give up though, crack one problem at a time, so what you put a bit of weight on, giving up smokeing has enormous benefits.
well done on giving up..................... i did it and put 4 stone on!!!!!
it sounds stupid but even tho i was fat i still felt healthier than when i smoked!!
i have now learned how to control my hunger pains and the wieght slowly but surelly came off (well 2 stone did).
do i miss smoking......no!!
do i want a big mac....yes!!
will i have one ......no!!
