Shampoo for my Vax Carpet Cleaner is pretty expensive. Checking the Screwfix web site searching for Vax Shampoo, a 5 litre product called No Nonsense Shampoo is listed and customer comments say they have used it in their Vax machine with good results. Has any answerbankers used this product in their Vax Carpet Cleaners and if so did it do the biz?!. Thanks

The Pound shops have a range of cleaners for different types of machines. (1001, Astonish, etc.)
Very dilute cheap washing up liquid works well in my Vax.
Supermarket 'value' washing up liquid and just two or three drops , no more, per litre of water. So cheap you can hardly work out the cost. A bottle of 'value' washing up liquid is 35pence and will last at least a year if you only use it for the Vax.
