Mad Hattie Harmon yesterday launched Labour's Women's Manifesto.

My questions are:

1 - Why do women need their own manifesto?
2 - Is this condescending to women?
3 - Where are the men's, black, Asian and disabled manifestos?

OK, last question was tongue in cheek.

Have they ? Well ...

1 - Because they are the only ones in society that are important.
2 - Similar special treatment elsewhere has never caused an issue so presumably not.
3 - No doubt on the way when they make enough fuss.
It's about time these Policitians started treating everyone as equals and stop this 'positive descrimination' stuff. We've moved a long way since Victorian times.

I think Labours 'women only' lists are a travesty, denying half of the people who want to stand for election a change to do so. The best person for them ob is far more fair. Anyway, that is another aspect of this Tread. Harriet Harman's husband won his seat on a Womens only list!!
1. There are a lot of these insecure haradens in the Labour party who seem to think having their own "section" helps. It's bsically insecurity, try haveing a mens manifesto and see what happens for how rediculous this is.
2. Yes, very
3. On their way, along, no doubt, with the anti British one!
Labour treat the electorate as fools.
and an awful ot of those fools vote for them
Indeed.
1 - We don't, we are people, not a sub-species.
2 - YES!
3 - Unnecessary - see I and 2 above.
