Your right gary baldy.That's exactly why you can no longer find HP beans on sale.


Don't see much taste difference myself - they certainly don't contain or taste like branston pickle or sauce which some people seem to have been misled over.

I agree gumboil. And there was about an inch of tomato sauce at the tip of the last can of BranstonI beans I opened whereas I find Heinz beans are crammed to the top. I think a Radio station 12 months or so ago ahd people 'phoning in to say how many beans they had counted in various cans of beans.
