Well, like I say, I don't want a Labour-SNP coalition, and I'd be worried that such would be a disaster for the UK. But if it is to happen then it had better be more Labour than SNP. The more power the SNP have, the worse things will be.

So I'll vote Labour, and hope that down south things work out to ensure that, one way or another, the SNP don't get any hold of power. As far as I can see, our best chance of this is to keep the SNP out. Which means a vote for Labour. Not ideal, but it's the best I can do.

kromo there isn't going to be a Labour SNP coalition. Apart from the fact that it has already been ruled out, I don;t see how it would work anyway.
And unless the SNP back down on Trident, as I said earlier, then there is unlikely to be any sort of agreement at all. Not voting Labour because you don't want a Labour/XXX coalition is a strange approach, because arguably the more people who vote Labour the more chance there is of them winning outright :-)
Apparently many non-SNP voters in Scotland are considering voting tactically to keep out the SNP, although unless lots of LibDems decide to do that I am not sure how that would work. There aren't all that many Tory votes to go across to Labour (!) And Labour voters switching to the Tories would seem equally futile. I only saw the figures for Tories and Labour. On a seat by seat basis I suppose if one were to analyse it then it might work in some cases.

At the last election there was something like 17% Tory Support across Scotland-- not insignificant, if they use their votes wisely!

If we had AV, this tactical voting against the SNP would be a whole lot easier... Lib Dems, Tories and Labour could "cycle through" the three parties to find the one that had the most chance of beating the SNP! Ah, well.

I quite agree. It was so frustrating to see the electorate decide to reject AV at the referendum

It was only ruled out the other night though, ich, and as a voter I cannot second-guess what the various leaders may or may not be willing to arrange - something I have virtually no influence over. I'm surprised that so many of them have ruled out so much, actually, because jt's obvious that someone at some point is going to need to negotiate.
