Skunk ?

not sure where to put this..can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between skunk and ordinary run of the mill weed...WITHOUT using..ie colour ?

It usually has a slightly frosted appearance and a very strong (not necessarily disagreeable) odour, like a sweet garlic/pepper smell - very similar to hops IMO.
Also, in terms of intoxification, it is much stronger than "domestic" which (to me) has a faint coconutty scent.

thanks answer..in sealed bag and as it was not on nephew's own territory I was reluctant to open etc so no smell experienced ..just the very green appearance !

If you're worried that someone close to you has developed a habit for the stuff and they are slightly lax with the way they carry it, you will probably smell it on them (like hops).

.don't believe there is a habit for skunk..a VERY VERY bad reaction to use ..perhaps not single use ..not that naive but VERY severe

answer ..he is very boho and musks etc not unusual so smell is not an indicator

If used in moderation it's normally ok, chronic users can fall victim to drug-related psychosis though.

answer,,fraid I do not agree ..he has been tipped by skunk not normal weed..if you like socially acceptable and containable..his tox results were off the scaLE

Almost all 'weed' around now is the 'skunk' variety. The 'traditional' stuff is becoming rare.

Eddie..I fear you are right....alas,,I desperately want to save the lad before the tide has turned..I love him so much,,if only his parents had such concern...but no time for recriminations now....

^ yes my daughter uses the stuff, much to my dismay and disapproval. The old herbal variety of the 60 and 70s was on a diffrent level. I really think the skunk variety should be a class B drug. Few people seem to realise how things have changed , it is not 'flower power' stuff that is around now, the modern stuff is up to 50x as strong.!
I found out the address she got the stuff from and reported it to 'crimestoppers' the place closed down but of course there is another one to take it's place.
