Well that was the end was it. No conclusions all round. Very frustrating. It has been a great series, thoroughly enjoyed it but do wish it had ended "properly"

As it was getting to 10pm, I thought it was going to finish at 10.30 as its the last episode, then I thought the long lost hubby was going to leave the house and jump in front of a train or a bridge.

He got caught shoplifting and the police found out he was a 'missing person'. They asked if he wanted his wife to know he had been found and he said yes (we didn't see that bit, just the police explaining it to his wife). She went to Margate but he had left the police station and had gone to the farm, when she got to the farm he had left but the owner contacted her when he returned and then he eventually spoke to her.
The errant husband was accused of assault on the shopkeeper and of shoplifting, yet he was released with no consequences, apparently. He might have accepted a caution, but that was not mentioned. But it would not surprise me if he had been let off with a stern "Don't do it again" and a wagging finger in such a real-life situation.
