Why, no matter what the turn is doing on the stage, does the camera have to linger on And & Dec in the wings, doing their own (facile) version of what the turn is doing?
It wasn't funny when Hughie Green used to do it right after a turn on Opportunity Knocks, and it's not funny now.
They may be amusing, but that's not a good enough reason for them to steal the limelight from performers, even if it's just the home audience that sees them..
If I was commissioning a Saturday night light entertainment show and was looking around for crew and on-screen people I'd probably go with folks who know how to produce hit after hit rather than grumpy viewers who can remember TV in black and white spread over two channels.
No I don't like your taste in music, but I don't follow you around your posts stating this-not entirely sure why it's an issue for you that I have different tastes but apparently it is. However Its very boring your constant harping about it, let it go- for the love of all that's holy...let it go!
Because Ant and Dec are the stars. The acts do NOT matter. No body wants to even look at the acts! We just love watching Ant and Dec because they are so darned funny and lovely!! TV should just be one long Ant and Dec Show because they are so cute and lovely. They are the Morecambe and Wise of now because of their loveliness'!
