Is it about time this aid was sorted out, there seems to be Millions going to Country's that either could do without it, not used properly or squandered.

When you hear of cancer sufferers not being given a drug that could prolong their life because of funding, it makes my blood boil, when we give a lot if dosh to overseas countries.

I know of a young Mum who is dying of kidney cancer which was diagnosed after the birth of her baby. The drug she needs costs £40,000 a year to provide, so she has a fund raising page.

I think charity begins at home and should stay at HOME !
Vote UKIP.
Unfortunately corrupt goverments knowingly give to other corrupt goverments and not directly to the people. This is the problem which we could stamp out by getting rid of the corrupt goverments and dealing with the needy directly.
I will be voting UKIP and so will my family, if only to make the parties take notice and that mass immigration is a problem. I know UKIP won't win, but sick of the main parties skirting around the immigration problem.
I'm of the simplistic view that we have people in dire straits here and we should concentrate our efforts in closing down the need for foodbanks and stabilise our country.

As an addendum, I donate to overseas aid and in my mind that should be the way it's done, those who can help should, if they want, and those who can't shouldn't have it deducted at source.I also donate to home based charities.

Charity begins at home, I mean from grass roots not from a political stance.
