To those not in the know, Farndale is just above Kirkbymoorside, and the original native English daffodils (the sort Wordsworth wrote about) have spread all the way down the little River Dove. A lovely walk of about 3 miles with a tea shop half-way (or a pub if you go a bit further).
We are almost directly inland from Filey, in the Wolds, and have to go to Hunmanby for t'grease and chips. Welcome home.
