hi there, does anyone know where the girl with the auburn hair in this ad (the one where the guy is waffling on about cheese prices) has been seen before?

i'm sure she was in another ad recently and it driving me nuts as to where i have seen her before...

I think it's the same woman who plays the mun in the Specsavers advert for contact lenses where the daughter takes the boyfriend to meet her mum.

I love that specsavers ad it always makes me laugh at the end when the daughter snorts at the boyfriend. The mum looks young enough to be an older sister. Can't recall the tiscali ad though.

Her name is Ruth Gemmell. She played Colin Firth's "George Graham" girlfriend in Fever Pitch and has featured in a number of TV programs such as Silent Witness and Band Of Gold. But mainly she works in theatre.
