It would be a lot easier to understand if it was in the form of a map.
Or just numbers > Number of cycle parks now and number proposed for 10 yeas time on a bar chart.
That gives no idea of the location of the cycle parking places.
Er... if I knew Newcastle better or there were to be a superimposed map then I might feel better informed. As it is, I'm glad I don't cycle! It does look to be a very good, clear exposition, but I don't know where anything is supposed to be.
Hi Soph - You've obviously gone into a lot of fine detail in producing the poster, and the layout of it must have taken a considerable time.
Although, like Eddie said, it would be better in the form of a map. Do I assume the centre of your poster is meant to represent the city centre? It's a great design, but, to me, it's just a bit too abstract. By the way. what size is the poster?
Also the fact that you say the description will help understand it sort of contradicts the idea of a poster - a poster should convey the information clearly and quickly.
Main criticism is that the main body of the poster only has numbers. You then have to keep looking at the bottom to see the locations. Definitely needs a map, as it is it means nothing to someone who does not already have a detailed knowledge of the geography of the area.
