Is it possible to be incredit on a credit card. For example I used my credit card to place a 50 bet it won and now I have 100. Would I be 50 incredit if I put it back into my credit card account

Yes you would be in credit as happened to me with a bet.The credit card companies will in some circumstances issue you with a cheque for the amount but arenot keen on this.Another good alternative is to spend it

I've in credit on my credit card at the moment by 50 - I accidently paid the outstanding balance twice - what a muppet!
It would be in credit and you wouldn't receive any inteerst on it.
If your credit limit is 500 you could then buy something for 550
Not only is it possible, but I have actually paid money in deliberately before.

My credit card had an offer on that if you purchased your holiday using the card, you got free travel insurance. I only had a 1500 limit at the time but the holiday cost around 2k - so I paid in 500 and then purchased the holiday.

An ex-manager of mine used to pay into his credit card before he went abroad - and then purchased everything on his card - it can also give you extra rights on purchases.
I believe AMEX (American Express) offers a service to credit your credit card (if that makes sense!)
