My Yahoopage seems to have undergone a change overnight and now says BT Yahoomail.
The look of the page has changed and I have an advertisement email at the top of my list of incoming emails which I cannot delete. At the end of the advert it has a 's' in a broken cirlce, rather than the time.
How do I get back to my UK and Ireland Email page and/or how do I get rid of these sponsored emails?
Hi Tilly. I have just found that I also get an advert at the front of the first email in the inbox and a letter 's' instead of the time at the line end of the email. But this only happens when I disable the AdBlock. (But I didn't say that, honest Ed).
I have just tried Yahoo.com, sir.prize. It is the same on there. The yahoo page is the same as the old one but when I click on mail, it jumps to the 'new' page. Stupid advert still there! Thanks for trying to help.

I have not knowingly disabled Adblocker, sir prize but it doesn't have any numbers against the logo at the moment. May it have turned itself off? How do I turn it back on.
I do get adverts on AB, down the righthand side. At the moment it is the new Queen Elizabeth £5 coin.
It may depend on which browser you are using. I use Firefox and the blocker icon is red in the top right hand corner with a tiny downward pointing arrow alongside. Click on the arrow . . .
I have the red icon, sir.prize but not the little arrow. when I click on it and press options, I just get a page with boxes on it and no writing. I am going to remove it and re-install it, I think.
The adverts were from different places, not always the same company. They have gone now. Ad Blocker Super seems to have dealt with them. I don't understand what happened to the original Ad Blocker though.
It's a programme you run continuously on your computer that periodically checks your e-mail account for you, and if it finds you have received new e-mail it downloads it to your computer and then deletes it from the website. It can also allow you to send e-mails from your computer too so you never need to go to the website and see the ads.
