Last year, I think it was, was the 50th anniversary of the Stones' first gig. Someone pointed out at the time that it actually took place nearer in time to the sinking of the Titanic than to us now. Ouch.

It was a great relief when he moved on from murdering the Scottish Songbook, to murdering the American Songbook.
However, his version of "Ally's Army" is still the best, in my opinion.
