well that's 24 done, nearly half-way there ....

and just few questions ... what are all those stones on the steps all about
and the 8+8+8 on the brick wall of the tower?
the red arrow things with the black dots?
Steve Coogan?
"this does nothing" words around a red dot on the pavement at the bottom of the steps.
The Mammoth (left hand side)?

Hi folks, thanks for all your help - fantastic. I'm now up to 44. Someone asked why "Mr. Selfridge"? I thought the lady on the far right was one of the cast from that, but it's Ripper Street.

Just some more thoughts on this -

1. what's the "f" shaped carving on the castellated tower on the left hand side of the picture - what programme does that represent?

2. I wondered if the TV camera at the top of the castellated tower could be one of the sports programmes - but don't know which one

3. And what about the girl jumping to the left of "Anne Boleyn" (above Maggie Smith in Downton costume)?

4. And the 3 purple bubbles behind Harry HIll?

Lost is the dharma flag. I think the vital clue in the missing was his twelfth chip hence it seems certain

With the help of all the previous correspondents, I'm confident about 49 of the images and titles, but I'm unable to identify the last one.
Is the TV camera on top of the tower significant or is it a red herring?
Is NAOMISWED on the Countdown board an anagram of a TV programme?

Hi blythebarrow. I think the camera is probably Big Brother. Like you, I wondered about naomiswed on the Countdown board but as I already had 50 answers without it I decided to ignore it.

"Wooly Mammoth the Autopsy" is unlikely to be an answer, because it was a one-off programme, unlike the other 49 answers which are all series.

The Letters on the countdown board are the countdown conundrum so that is just one clue. I seem to have 51 answers which is odd.

annieboots23, the picture on the RT website is such appaling quality that you couldn't enter using it alone. In the magazine there is indeed XII on the sobriety chip, although I don't know why you say it's definitely The Missing because it's hasn't got 12. If the letters on the Countdown board are the conundrum, what do you think is the answer? 'Womanised"? "Women's Aid"? I have sent in my 50 answers now. I took the conundrum and Countdown as two clues, and the helicopter with 'C' as one clue.
