Went to Gloucester today, at the traffic lights we were stopped outside a tattoo parlour. On the window was written all the things they have on offer. There was one item I cannot begin to understand. "Cremation Tattoos" what the heck are these?

I believe they mix the ashes in the tattoo ink. Bit morbid.
They use the ashes of your loved one, mix it with the ink and then do the tattoo Caran. Here's a link

Oh I'd got visions of the dead body having a tattoo before the cremation and I couldn't make sense of that!
Thanks for the info on that everyone.

No reputable tattooist would ever do them.
along with the betting office, fast food, charity shops and pound shops every town now seems to have a tattoo parlour.
Have you noticed on these tv programmes about people skint & on the dole they all can afford tattoos along with the mega tv screen, the fags and the pedigree dog.
I have two tattoo shops near me and they advertise this as well. Who would want a tat of any kind? They're hideous things.
What is the obsession with the size of other peoples TVs? They are probably on the never never...
