Most comedians say they are left wing / socialist and it is seen as "cool" to be seen as left wing and bash the right wing. No comedian would be seen as "cool" if they said they were right wing (except perhaps Bernard Manning).
Even that prat Ben Elton used to stand up and "pretend" he was left wing in his 80s routines, yet he is now a multi millionaire, as are many of the "alternative" / so called left wing comedians of the 80s and 90s.
Left wing people love to mentioned far right people like Hitler as an example of facism, yet forget the left wing leaders like Stalin, Pol Pot, Chairman Mao etc. who were every bit as bad as Hitler, possibly worse.
