My cats keep getting brown dots on their ears. What are they please? I have looked for fleas and cant find any.

Brown dots inside the ears or on the external ear (ear flap?) If they are inside the ear it could be earwax - which may mean your cats have ear mites.

its on the outside around the edges of the ears
