There's an ad for driving lessons in the Belfast Telegraph this morning. 'First 5 lessons £99, first 10 lessons £199.' Aren't thing usually cheaper the more you buy?

LOL.....that was smart of you to pick that up sandy........I suppose it depends upon what the extra five lessons involve....;-) ;-)
Maybe if you only buy 5 the others are £25 each thereafter?

£99 for 5, £19.80 each
£199 for 10, £19.90 each,
is 10p really such a Big Deal?
I apologise for saying this but that is a typically Irish advert.
Not necessarily, Ron.

£99 for 5, £19.80 each ........then £25 or £26 or whatever
£199 for 10, £19.90 each......then £25 or £26 or whatever

So it you don't buy them at the introductory rate you end up paying more. So buying 10 does work out cheaper.
£25 or £26 per lesson of course.
and £200 for the bribe to the driving examiner.

For an extra £200 maybe the instructor would take the test for you.
