Is there some kind of adapter available that would fit into my galaxy note 4 so that I can transfer photos from that to my macbook?

I saw someone had something that connected onto the end of their camera where they were able to download photos from the camera onto this adapter, then plug the adapter into their iPad and put the photos on there.

Im hoping there is something similar available that will enable me to transfer photos from my phone, onto my macbook

Thanks

I'm not familiar with a MacBook, but I'm assuming it's quite similar to a laptop.
If so, you can transfer photos, videos, etc, from your phone to your MacBook wirelessly - no need for wires etc :)
All you need, is for both your phone and MacBook to be able to access the internet.
On your phone, go to the app store and install an app called, "AirDroid".
On your MacBook, go to http://web.airdroid.com/
Open the app on your phone and scan the QR code with your phone and your phone will connect to your MacBook using the internet.
You can now download whatever you want from your phone onto your MacBook
