The fact that he is also gorgeous and from my hometown of Manchester also helps! I don't know if New Judge was joking when he said /// If he can act as well as he could bowl then /// but he certainly bowls me over. He is to play the brother of Kym Marsh's character (Michelle Connor) and I've just read that she has split from her real life boyfriend!! Hope she doesn't think she can bag Shayne but it wouldn't surprise me if she does. x
I think it's extremely sad that people are becoming known for joining a soap opera, when they have had great careers behind them (I'm excluding X Factor winners and other wannabees from this). Timothy West - a great Shakespearean actor - was advertised the other day as "from Coronation Street" - talk about coming down in the world....

Hi boxtops. I did wonder myself why so many people who are already famous for whatever reason, are joining the soaps, but it happens all the time. I know for a fact that some of them actually want to appear in things like Coronation St, but I suppose others will just look on it as a paid job.
