Christie never wrote a novel or short story featuring both Poirot and Miss Marple. In a recording, recently re-discovered and released in 2008, Christie revealed the reason for this: 'Hercule Poirot, a complete egoist, would not like being taught his business or having suggestions made to him by an elderly spinster lady'

Margaret Rutherford appeared as Miss Marple very briefly in The Alphabet Murders based on the novel the A.B.C. Murders..Tony Randall played Poirot .It was more of a sort of comedy, spoof type film though .She never wrote a novel featuring both characters and I don't know of any other films based on her novels featruring them both .
