Pdf File To Kindle

I have been asked to review a book which is in a PDF file. I would prefer to download it to my Kindle to read. I have tried but not yet managed. Is there a way I can put the file on my Kindle. TIA

I use an ipad2. If you put the PDFs into Adobe Acrobat then whilst in Adobe Acrobat press the square with the arrow coming out the top you get the option in anther option & open in kindle.
