Itallics In Ab Posts.

Could Ed. or someone explain a sure-fire method (if there is such a thing) of using itallics? I have used the [i] before and after the word formula which sometimes works and sometimes makes my post look like a dog's breakfast - as this morning on the "Here comes Totalitarianism" thread. Thank you.

it usually works but seems to break down if certain punctuation marks occur in the text - I'm not sure which ones. I think full stops are ok but double quotation marks might be a problem.

Additionally, that procedure seems to only work once or twice in a single post with other, subsequent attempts failing...

I am afraid your stuck with it. Only AB Editor can do that, you could try asking by sending him an email.

That should work but certain punctuation messes it up, such as an apostrophe. And you are only allowed one go per post.
