What's a pianist paramedic?

This morning when driving to work a motorbike overtook me and it has all the stickers, uniform and lights of a paramedic but he/she had 'Pianist' on the back patch. Does this have anything to do with paramedics or was he/she just wearing all this gear to be seen?

Whats happend to the other half of my question?

My father has a Honda Pan European and always rides about with full reflecive gear on and an unmarked police bike sticker on is number plate to deter other drivers getting to close and acting dangerously behind him.
