We have been lucky enough to acquire a couple of air tickets to TLV in early October. Any tips or hints will be gratefully received! Love to hear from regular visitors or recent travellers with advice on which would be the best area to stay in.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I haven't been ther for at least 20 years, but I would book in a beach side hotel with one of the better known chains, Sheraton , Hilton etc. Tel Aviv in itself is a modern city, but be sure to visit Jerusalem, Jaffa, etc. etc. etc. You will have a great time, but be prepared for rather, uncouth and rude people.
