Cannot Bookmark On Chrome

I have lost the star one clicks to bookmark a window on Google Chrome,so cannot bookmark...how can I get it back????

Er, sorry, not a clue!

However pressing Ctrl and D together does exactly the same thing anyway.

I had the same problem when Chrome automatically changed the Bookmark facility to one that was almost universally disliked according to various forums.

In Chrome, open a new tab then in the address bar, enter -

chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment

This will take you to a long list with "Enable Enhanced Bookmarks" highlighted in yellow. In the drop-down options just underneath the highlighted text, select "Disabled".

You should see a "Relaunch Now" box appear bottom left - click that. On restarting, the bookmarks star should be back in place.

Be careful not to alter any of the other settings in that list.
