Van is 05 and just failed on.....N/S front lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover.

Can any of you nice people advise roughly how long it'll take a garage to do and how much i could expect to pay both part and labour ?

Guy in the MOT place says i should be looking at between £100-£150 for part and labour ?

Any help gratefully received

The ball joints of today come complete with the suspension arms Hammerman, that is just about right price wise, the parts will cost in the region of £30>>£40, the rest labour of about 1>!>1/2 hrs. the job is not the hard to do yourself.
And has TWR say's it's not to difficult to do as a DIY job.
The dust cover is just half an hours work and a couple of quid for the rubber cover.
It's called a gaiter(not sure of spelling). I'd advise to get both sides done whilst the vehicle is in the hands of the mechanic. Mine cost me £110 all in. It is more time consuming than you would think.
