New Laptop - Windows8 - Cursor Now Hard To Control

still finding windows 8 hard to navigate and cursor control makes it much harder. any ideas ? thanks

My neighbour set up my windows 8 for me recently and he did it like it was on XP. He got rid of the tiles etc. I notice no difference between 8 and XP now.

sorry, forgot to say its with a mouse, and have tried two ( mice )

Simply download and install Classic Shell to get back to common sense again:
http://www.classicshell.net/
(It's the most-frequently downloaded program for Windows 8 users).

Then go into the Control Panel to adjust your mouse settings if you're finding it hard to use.
