I cannot seem to be able to get these anywhere, I used to get them from Tesco but they never have any online or in store.
i like to keep them in the cupboard - i found them handy as a quick hot snack on toast

Something else you can get in discount stores but not in supermarkets, if you're interested - old-fashioned incandescent 100w light bulbs.

My brother used to like another disgusting food. Fray Bentos pies. I had one year's ago and was sick for the rest of the day. Yuck

Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies are my guilty pleasure (along with Heinz Ravioli) I don`t know why because I usually only eat chicken and fish. I never eat pastry either but I do love the Fray Bentos pastry.

Fray Bentos pies used to be delicious, but they're not a patch these days on what they used to be. I used to eat a whole one with a few peas. Set me up for the rest of the day. They were expensive too, nowadays you can buy them for the same price they cost 25 years ago.

What about Smash with the Martians and 'they peel them with their metal knives'? Now you can get chilled mash. Why?

Chilled mash is for those who are too hippy lazy to boil a kettle, let alone peel a spud. It is grossly expensive. I use Smash, but only because I'm on my own and it doesn't seem worth peeling and boiling one spud.

They sell them in my local corner shop. I bought two tins of the chicken & mushroom yesterday. I did ask the owner about them as I haven't seen them for years. I think I'll stock up if they're being discontinued.
