Ford Sync

Good morning,
I have a focus with ford SYNC, my phone connects ok to the car and I can receive and make calls ok, however when I receive a text and wish to reply the text reply goes to my phone and not the sender of the text to me, is this normal or should I be able to reply properly?

No I was serious, I was asking if the sync is supposed to reply to sender or not, whether texts were only one way thing, I guess from your reply that I have a fault

I would think that it does not encourage you too text whilst driving.

I too have SYNC on my Fiesta and I think the problem you are having is the fault of your phone, not the car. I make a receive texts all the time when I am in the car ( safely parked up, of course ! ) and when I reply, it goes straight back to the sender, just as normal.

Iam sure it is your phone that does the replying,not the SYNC.

But perhaps some techie on here can suggest a link between Ford SYNC and your problem.
