I think in is simply another form of sugar so little different. It may contain trace elements of other stuff I suppose. Check out honey composition on the Net.
In terms of calories one teaspoon of sugar has about 16 calories, and one teaspoon of honey has about 22 calories.

far too sweet..but then I don't take sugar in anything !
You don't need so much honey, so it can work out cheaper, and it is better for you.
And if you use local honey it's good for hay fever....apparently.
tried that Ummmm...didn't work...maybe the bees were visiting Edinburgh !!
Doesn't work for me either. I think it depends what you're sensitive to.

It depends if you like honey-flavoured coffee I guess. Sugar (white) doesn't have flavour - it just tastes sweet, honey is also sweet but tastes of honey.
I like my coffee to taste of coffee and can't understand why people like to put chocolate on it, but like all tastes it's personal. I use sweeteners anyway and admit they have a slight taste, but I've got used to it, it's worth it, considering the amount of dead calories saved.
