Phone Contract

If you want to keep your number what do you have to do? My contract with EE runs out next month and I think I'll buy a phone from Apple, it'll be unlocked so I can shop around for a decent tariff. What do I do first, give EE the heave ho then look for a monthly contract, or find the contract first?

Phone EE and request your MAC code.
You need it to port your number across to your new network.
Think it lasts for 30 days.

just upgraded with ee kept my phone number but contacts not put on as I was told they would done them myself took me ages as I am not sure about correct procedure so I not very happyTrying to work out messaging
