A magnet in your underware to eliminate menopausal symptoms?
Been talking to my sons mum today and she swears by it. She was having really bad sweats etc but said that since using this product 3 weeks ago all symptoms have stopped. Previous to this she had tried everything from acupuncture to herbal remidies, so its hard to see how it could be placebo.
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
Strong magnetic fields are claimed to have loads of beneficial effects. I recall bracelets for arthritis or rheumatism or something. But I'm skeptical. Maybe your son's mum is simply reaching near the end of that part of her life as she gives this a try ?
If it works, go for it. I don't know if there is any medical evidence, but the placebo effect can be a wonderful thing if it's not a clinical reason. As OG says - thousands of people wear magnetic bangles, they believe in them. Anything's worth a try!
OG, she has just started on the change not just near the end. My father wore arthritus bracelets for years but they did nothing for him (he ended up wheelchair bound)
Boxy, //the placebo effect can be a wonderful thing//... Thats the thing, if it was placebo then why didnt other 'alternative' treatment have any effect?
